A father of eight who also is a popular community leader in Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River state has been reportedly killed by an enforcement agent on Saturday.
The victim, Chief Raymond Nyong, was said to have been murdered by the commercial motorcycle task force in a hit and run style.
Information gathered this time reveals that the community leader was on a motorcycle, en route his wife‘s shop in Bogobiri area of the state when he met his untimely death along Atu Street by Murray Road.
Following the report of his death, neighbours alongside his wife took the remains of the deceased to a private hospital where doctors confirmed him dead on arrival.

Prior his death, Nyong was also the one responsible for the upkeep of the six children his late brother left behind two years ago.
As at the time of this report, his assailants are yet to be apprehended, neither has the cause of his murder been unraveled.
