The Treasury House which is the office of the Accountant General of the Federation in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja was gutted by fire this morning Wednesday, April 8th.

It was gathered that the fire started from the third floor, razing the building upwards including the Accountant General’s office and most of the important offices.
However, the fire has been put off by men of the Federal Fire Service who were later joined by staff of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
