The first son of Imo state Governor Okorocha, Aham Okorocha has been flown to London for an ailment, yet-to-be disclosed.
Afam reportedly collapsed during the Christmas week afterwhich he was flown to London for treatment.
Confirming the incident on Sunday, the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu disclosed this during the South East zonal meeting of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains in Ebonyi State.

Onu said.
“I had informed Governor Okorocha of this meeting and he had promised to be here.

“The governor however, called me back days after our conversation to explain that his son had taken ill and he will be taking him to London for treatment, and, as such, would not be able to attend the meeting. We pray that his son recovers quickly.”
According to Sun’s report, a source close to the Imo State first family said that Aham suddenly took ill and was immediately rushed to London for treatment, accompanied by the governor and his wife, Nkechi.
The source further confirmed that there was an obvious absence of the governor’s son at the family’s thanksgiving on Sunday which took place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ogboko.
It was just recently when we published the story of President Buhari’s son, Yusuf Buhari who had a power bike accident around Gwarimpa in Abuja.
Although the President’s spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, had said Yusuf was in a stable condition and recuperating, but then the President’s son had spent six days hospitalized.
