Almost a week ago, Folarin Alakija & Naza’s Alakija’s lavish white wedding was witnessed in Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. England. The wedding costs millions of Naira.
As of today, the wedding is still trending and the huge amount of money spent on the wedding ceremony is still trending and even the DailyMail of England is talking about the thousands of pounds Folarin, who is one of Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija’s four sons, & his Iranian beauty wife Nazanin Jafarian Ghaissarifa lavished on the fairytale wedding.
Folorunsho Alakija, the mother of the groom is said to be one of the richest black women in the world. Little wonder, the wedding looks like an event from a fairytale.
According to reports, £250,000 (N114million) was used for flowers alone. Jeff was the man behind the flowers at Eva Longoria and Tony Parker’s wedding.
The cost of booking the venue which is the ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill cost nothing less than £33,000 (N15million).
Wedding guests were treated to a surprise performance from Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke, who reportedly costs around £150,000(N68.2million) to get.
The creme-de-la-creme of the society list included amongst many, Victoria’s Secret Angel, Shanina Shaik.
The cake, which was coloured with hundreds of roses and ornate doves, was created by Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium.
Prices start at £300 per tier and Elizabeth’s clients include British, European and Middle Eastern Royalty, celebrities and high net worth individuals.
With eight tiers on their cake, the base price Folarin & Naza would have paid for their magnificent cake would be around £2,400 (N1.1million) – and that’s excluding the elaborate iced flowers and doves.
The new bride, Nazarin, an Iranian stunned in a traditional strapless white gown with lace embellishment as she was walked down the aisle by her father. She supported her beautiful look with a dazzling diamond necklace and white Manolo Blahniks.
Later on, during the occasion, she changed into a racier, floor length white gown with sheer paneling. She let her hair down as she danced the night away with her new husband and flashy wedding guests.
Folarin Alakija who has one child already is an entrepreneur, cinematographer, and investor.He lost his first wife to cancer.
