The 72-year-old Grandmother has been greatly distressed after her new Nigerian husband has been denied visa to join his wife in the United Kingdom.
The couple met on Facebook and got engaged on Skype before they finally got married when the Grandmother came to Nigeria to visit her handsome man. She had spent a lot but yet he had been denied visa severally.
Ex-husband of the Grandmother, Donald Neate aged 71 who described her as ‘gullible’ spoke to Mail Online, he said: “We separated 18 years ago and haven’t had any contact since.”
“The first time I knew about it was when I read the papers. She has been scammed by a man who just wants to get into the country.”
“She has done it now and will have to deal with the consequences.”
The Grandmother and mother of six, Angela Nwachukwu with sons aged 50, 47 and 43 had spent over £20,000 of her life savings on her lover, CJ Nwachukwu’s visa applications and on visiting him here in Nigeria.
She is currently planning to get him a student visa to enable him to study his Masters in computing which will enable him access into the United Kingdom.
