The scarcity of the petrol product affected the turn up of congregations of worshipper at various churches on Monday for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ,
Many Christians were seen queuing for fuel at filling stations as early as 5.30am.
Some of them who spoke with dailyfamily.ng said that scarcity of the petrol product in the town had prevented them from going to their various churches due to waiting on the queue since 5am.
Some of the motorcyclists said they had no option than to queue at the filling station since they could not afford to buy fuel on the black market, and if they buy it they might likely not going to make the money back from passenger fares.
Similarly, the scarcity of the product had led to a fire outbreak in an unidentified police barrack in Ibadan as it was alleged that they were selling fuel illegally on the black market in the barrack.
