Germany is the third European country to win the Confederation cup after Denmark and France
Chile’s defender Diaz made a silly mistake in concentration that allows Timo Werner got the ball, draw the goalkeeper and pass to Stindl, who played into an empty net on 20 minutes just shortly after Alexis Sanchez missed a beautiful chance to give Chile the lead.
As stated earlier, this is the first time Germany, the defending world champions of the 2014 World Cup, will be winning The Fifa Confederations Cup which is in its eight seasons.

In the third place match between Portugal and Mexico, Portugal beat Mexico 2-1 to win the third place trophy.
