A little girl has been allegedly spotted with a symptom of Monkeypox in Kaduna.

This was announced by a Facebook user identified as Daniel Igoche, who raised the alarm on his facebook page.

According to Igoche, the little girl has only been treated with traditional roots and herbs due to financial constraint.

The young man, however, urged the Kaduna state government to take necessary actions before it gets worse.

It could be recalled that twelves persons have been reportedly quarantined in Bayelsa state after the first case of suspected monkeypox infection was reported a few days ago. The virus later spread to the neighbouring state of Rivers.

Experts have warned Nigerians to avoid eating of monkeys, bush meats, and dead animals and also wash their hands properly.
