A 26-year-old man identified as Marcus Martin has heroically saved his fiancee who was almost knocked down by a Dodge Challenger car.
Martin was photographed just some seconds after he heroically got his fiancée out of the way of a white supremacist’s car in Charlottesville on Saturday.
Marcus Martin, 26, was reported to have been with his fiancée Marissa Blair, 27 marching the streets with their friends as counter-protester at the tragic day’s events.
According to Dailymail’s report on the story, the Dodge Challenger suddenly ran into the crowd and Martin wouldn’t hesitate to push his bride-to-be out of the way, causing him to be hit by the accelerating vehicle.
In mid-air seconds after he saved Blair’s life, Martin was photographed and other photos reveal that when the car backed up over him, his shoe was dragged off.
Martin survived the car crash but sustained a broken leg in the horrific incident, as Blair live-streamed the entire event on Facebook.
Blair revealed to Dailymail, the moment Martin pushed her out of the way, saying: ‘He saved me then he was under the car.’
