Hi-Impact TV Set to Hit the Airwaves this Month.

Since the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation(NBC) licensed the first private terrestrial TV, many other private TV stations have come on board.
However, the trend has now shifted from terrestrial TV to digital TV following the directive of NBC, instructing the terrestrial TV to switch over to digital TV.
As a result of this, many satellite TVs have come on board, such as DSTV, Daarsat, Consat, Startimes, GoTv, TSTV, Hi TV, amongst others.
Yet, because of the harsh business environment in Nigeria, a lot of these digital TVs couldn’t survive and they have packed up, though some of them are still thriving.
Therefore, as a family enthusiast, when I see any information that is related to the family, I always dig deep into it to have a quality message to feed our teeming readers.
It is in this spirit that I delved into the issue of the hashtags #TvinFullHD, #FullHD and #NewTV that kept popping up on my twitter timeline in the last few weeks and I found out that another satellite TV, Hi-Impact TV, is set to be launched on our airwaves.
When I discovered this, I searched further to know if there is any new thing they have to offer the family or it has nothing different from the packs of the existing stations.
These are my findings:
Hi-Impact TV is a full HD TV Channel established under the umbrella of Solution Media and Infotech, owners of Hi-Impact Planet, Nigeria’s finest Amusement Park and Resort centre. Hi-Impact will be officially unveiled on 1st June 2018.
The family is about to enjoy the best entertaining programs they have ever seen in recent years on TV. With all the exciting programs lined up for the family such as entertainment, creativity and education, the station will be commissioned on 29th May 2018.
In the word of the Chairman of the organization, Prince Adeyanju Lipede:
“The television station will be edutainment-based, focusing mainly on education, entertainment, and family. Just as our payoff, ‘Securing the Future’, Hi-Impact TV will air programs that have meaningful impacts for the family which will include drama series, cartoons and on-air classes to mention just a few.”
He also disclosed that Solution Media & Infotech, is noted for excellence and quality and that a lot has been invested in the station in every sphere, including content and technical quality, to ensure that it is the best in town.
This will be evident in the broadcast quality as the station will transmit all its programmes on full High Definition.
The Chairman also stressed that:
“As a way of assisting our children excel in the Junior/Senior Secondary School Examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO as well as the Joint Matriculations Exams (JAMB), we have designed a program called ‘Syllabus for Excellence’ to take care of those subjects that usually pose challenges to students, as one of our many programmes.”
According to the statement released to the public, Hi-Impact TV will be a 24-hour station which will transmit live from the much celebrated Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park on June 1, 2018, and broadcast on the Free-to-Air platform from ViewSat and other major cable platforms.
Apart from the above-mentioned programs, the station also lines up a lot of programs that will make families stay glued to their screen. These programs include unique international titles, captivating telenovelas, indigenously produced contents celebrating the African culture of dance, drama, and music from different African ethnic groups, and a few others from other non-African climes.
With these fascinating programs put in place by Hi-Impact, the new TV is set to bring back the glory days of Nigeria in the broadcasting industry, and besides, it is poised on bringing in the much-anticipated revolution.
