How to overcome bad grades in school 

If your grade in college has been bad don’t allow that to get you down. Having bad grade is not the end of the world.

Everyone receives a lower grade at a point in life. The most important thing is that you deal with it effectively.

If you take the right steps, you can actually come out of your present low grade by figuring out what went wrong and planning effectively for the future.

Focused is the key, you must picture the future so that you can be in the future.

By taking the following steps you will achieve your dream grade in life.

Don’t be too hard on yourself
Receiving a bad grade isn’t the end of the world. Don’t think one bad grade represents your overall worth as a student. The very fact that you are concerned shows that you are motivated and have high expectations for yourself.
Remember that a “C” is usually considered average, a “B” above average, and an “A” exemplary. By putting this into perspective you will see that your grade is not as bad as you thought.

Take time to process your reaction.
You may feel anxious, frustrated, or even confused about the whole things. Just calm down and let it out. Don’t Suppressing your emotions it will only make you feel worse, just move on.

Create distance between you and the grade for some times.

Thinking about your low grade while planning to claim the leader of higher grade will complicate the whole issues so, try as much as possible to do something that will take your mind off the low grade.

Figuring Out What Went Wrong.
Try as much as possible to look for pattern of errors by figure out a pattern in your mistakes. This will go a long way to help you isolate and overcome your problem areas on your own.

Study those difficult subjects very well

groups of related test questions you missed, try to categorize them and figure out what subject you could study harder in some that you can make up those test

Stop asking yourself how you get bad grades
Instead of asking yourself why you get bad grades ask, how you can restructure your answers in a way that would earn you a better grade.

Consult your classmates.

Ask your course mates their grades, If you all received similar grades, maybe the problem is with the material or master that taught you. Sometimes teachers or lecturers curve the grades in which many students are struggling.
If they did better than you, ask them what kind of strategies they used that earn them higher grades.

Make a good planning for the Future
Commit to your goals for improvement. Once you’ve recognized areas where you need to improve, you can take the steps to do so. Make positive changes by
Write out a workable timetable.

Eliminate distractions.
Don’t be distracted during a study, schedule your time. Look for every opportunities to make up lost points. Some teachers just want to see that you are willing to put more effort into your work.

You might not be able to change the grade you have received now, but you can take the necessary steps to improve it.
