Igbonla abducted students resumes school fully

Four out of the 6 abducted students of Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, Epe has resumed school fully this new session.

The four students are: Judah Agbaosi, Faruq Yusuf, Isoaka Ramon and Peter Jonah.
The students who spent more than 60 days with the Kidnappers before ttheir release on the 23rd of July were seen in school in excited as they resumed back.

On Tuesday, 12th September 2017, the permanent Secretary Mr. Adesina Odeyemi led the Lagos State Ministry of Education to Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, Epe.

According to The Nation reports, One of the students, Agbaosi, spoke with journalists, he said they have been able to put the incident behind them and move on with their academics.

He added: “I resumed yesterday (Monday) and feel very happy to be back. I can tell you that I’m very okay and know that nothing bad will happen again.”

He mentioned that the school management had put in place adequate security measures and other things that can increase their confidence to learn more.

Agbaosi was asked if he would have changed his school if he had a choice, he said: “I will not because I really like the standard here. Besides the school encourages student to have relationship with the teachers.”
