Live from IGOGO festival in Owo-Dailyfamily.ng

The Ayoyo is part of Igogo festival, it is the dance of bare-chested men, these men are from Iloro Quarter in Owo.

They often wear white caps with two horns of buffalo in their hands, while some of them will hold long canes in their hands.

They struck these horns together while dancing and singing around the town and visiting some sacred places in the town.

During this rite, no animal must cross their parts. Any animal found in their part will automatically become their delicacy.

The Upate-Ogun is where the market women perform their rites, especially those that are selling bush meat and some other related products.

The dancing of Olowo in the market is another traditional rite.
