I’m shy but I want a boyfriend: see what to do
Are you shy? Does the idea of giving a presentation in public or having a conversation with a stranger scare you? If your answer is yes to one of these questions, be calm. Everyone is shy at different levels. The truth is that our shyness grows with the strength we give her.

For those who believe that being shy is a bad thing to be wrong: a certain level of shyness does well, yes. Very extroverted people often expose themselves too much and end up hurting themselves. Shy people tend not to have that sort of problem. On the other hand, shyness can disrupt competition for a job or that job cat.

Of course, not everyone in the world is outgoing or can become outgoing. The important thing is to make yourself feel safe with yourself. So do not compare yourself with other people. Consider that overcoming shyness is an important step toward your self-esteem but at the same time you should not force yourself to do something that will leave you uncomfortable.

The purpose of the exercises below is to help you face small challenges and, little by little, manage to face situations that once seemed impossible. Who knows you do not gain confidence to conquer the guy you like?

1. See what you like and what you would like to change in yourself
Go to the front of the mirror and look at it for a while. Believe in her beauty. See your strengths. Every day, give yourself a chance to see yourself as a beautiful woman. It may sound silly, but believe me, that makes a lot of difference!

Now that you have seen your strengths, see what you do not like. If you do not like your hair, why not change the cut? If you think you are overweight, why not diet? Another cool tip is to invest in makeup tricks! Many things you do not like, with a good brush, can be disguised and your strengths strengthened.

2. One step at a time
If you are afraid of getting close to someone at work, start off with the simplest way by adding that person to some social network and chat with them. One of the advantages of the internet is that you can talk without being face to face with the person.

Gradually, you will be able to let go of your shyness and have a little more confidence to talk to other people in person.

3. Get more out
After a while, how about you start showing off? Now that you are more comfortable with yourself and may even have made new friends, then how about accepting invitations to parties and after-hours meetings? This may be the simplest exercise, but the most difficult to do. Of course talking to your friends on Facebook and surfing is cool. But meeting new and new people can be an incredible experience.

Try going to parties and bars with your friends. Meet at least one new person. If you do not have the guts to talk to a guy, make new friends! Maybe one of them does not show you your future boyfriend? The important thing is to take a risk!

4. Ask for help
There is no harm in asking your friends to help you. Those who really love you and understand this difficulty will help you without judgments. They may introduce you to new people, like that cat you have always wanted to meet, but you never had the guts to pull a subject.

They can also give you tips on how to start a conversation or things that can help you overcome shyness. Understand that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of courage.

5. Value your progress
Just like growing up, not being shy is a process. Therefore, value each of your achievements. Do not force yourself to go too fast or do tasks that you are not ready for. When you get used to something that you did not have the courage to do, you could try something new.
