JCMC Youth Foundation holds Conference in Ojodu

The Joint Christian Ministers Crusade (JMJC) held a youth conference today, December 19th, 2017 at Faith Family Bible Church, Ojodu, Berger, Lagos state.

Youth from Ojodu and its environs gathered at the Church for the Conference that was tagged; Youth: Pioneer your way to the Top.

Notable persons in attendance were Nigeria’s female FIFA Referee and Conference Coordinator, Pastor Blessing Oluwatunbi, popularly known as Blessing Liberty and the Convener of JCMC in the person of Rev. Dr David Aboderin.

Also, the wife of the Convener, Rev. Mrs Kike Aboderin, Rev. Mrs. Mary Oluwatunbi, who are executives of JCMC, and Dr. Joy Oluwatunbi, a medical practitioner were in attendance.

The main speaker at the Conference, Barrister Faith Adesua, spoke to the youth on how they could pioneer their way to the top.

In her speech, Barr. Adesua encouraged the youth to seek God first in all they did, she said: “there is no way you can get to the top without God”.

Also, she shared her personal experience of how she earned a First class from the Nigerian Law school at the age of 20. She explained further that success in academics was guaranteed only if they were determined to work for it.

Dr Oluwatunbi in her own way taught the youth in attendance about healthy ways of living. She said the youth should avoid foods like artificial sugar if they desired to live healthy until old age.

Dr Oluwatunbi also advised the youth to stay away from pre-marital sex and that they should maintain a good hygiene, eat well and exercise.

Part of the varieties at the Conference were drama presentation, song ministration by Pastor Mrs Elvis and Songspiration. There was also free medical screening and vocational training on Gele tying and Ankara bag making.
