The All Progressives Congress, APC, councillorship candidate for Odi-Olowo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos, Bode Adeosun, whose daughter was kidnapped about a week ago has withdrawn from the race, following a threat by kidnappers to kidnap his children and the eventual release of his daughter Bukola.
According to findings and a recent report revealed by Vanguard, Adeosun’s withdrawal was the only condition given by the kidnappers for the release of his kidnapped 19-year-old daughter.
According to reports gathered, Bukola’s abductors contacted her father in the early hours of yesterday, informing him that Bukola was in their custody.
The only condition they gave for her release was his withdrawal from the race.
The Kidnappers eventually released APC councillorship candidate’s daughter, following Adeosun’s  withdrawal from the councillorship race.
Information gathered by Vanguard has it that Adeosun’s withdrawal from the race was announced during a meeting with candidates from other wards in the council area.
Having confirmed his withdrawal from the councillorship race, the kidnappers called Adeosun to go and pick his daughter at Damegoro Street, Mushin, with a sound warning not to come with any police officer.
The daughter, Bukola, was reportedly found blindfolded and unconscious, Friday midnight, with her hands and legs tied. She was rushed to the hospital where she regained consciousness the following day.
