The youth arm of Kingsword International church, Alagbado has taken the dynamics of preaching the gospel of Jesus christ to another level as they organize a community football match which is set to kick off today.
Speaking exclusively to DAILYFAMILY yesterday at the venue where the match will take place, one of the organizers of the match, Mr. Micheal Aigbe noted that the reason for organizing this football match is geared towards evangelism.
Aigbe who also was the former Coordinator of evangelism in his church, further stressed that organizing the football match is an awakening to the needs of young people.
“I’m passionate about helping young people find expression in any field they choose and organizing this football match is one of such. I’m a strong advocate of creative evangelism, sportsmanship and teamwork.
“As an aspiring leader, it is important to be sensitive to the needs of people around you. We hope that this football match will spearhead a major paradigm shift in the minds of our youths in church and community.
While speaking to us, Aigbe further revealed that the idea was inspired by God.
“We decide to name it “King’s League” and so far the turn up has been huge”.

“We created four teams that will adequately accommodate the youths in church. However, in bid to reach out the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to others, the selection was made open for each team to invite people who might be interested in football. Below are the names of the teams; Dominion FC, Salvation FC, FC Charis, Dynamite Kings”.
