A young man has been declared wanted by the police for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl
The young man who is the son of the landlady had raped a 5-year-old daughter of one of the tenants at No. 47 Erede Street, Ekerube in Abaranje, Ikotun, Lagos.
The man was said to have lured the victim into his apartment and penetrated her both through her private and anus and threatened her not to tell her parents, else she will be killed.
The girl’s mother discovered this act while bathing the little girl, when checked it was obvious that the girl has been abused as she suffers pain in the vagina.
The girl opened up and explained the whole scenario including the threat from the young man.

At the time the matter was reported to the police, the young man had gone missing, as no one can ascertain his present location.
The landlady and her children have been accused of threatening the victim’s family, claiming that they should bear it because they live in their house
The father of victim told PM Express that since the incident happened, his life and that of his family have been threatened and they have had to flee from their house for safety.
The police in Ikotun are of Lagos have confirmed the incident and are making effort to arrest the culprit
