Few women watch football just because their man is watching too.If they have their way, they would be watching Telemundo or A fashion show.
A man will naturally step out of the comfort of his house to watch a football match in a very crowded viewing centre just because his wife will not make him enjoy it at home.
Most men are in a dilemma of how to convince their wives to enjoy football with them.
Here is a list of some things to do to make your wife enjoy football with you:
-TEACH HER THE RULES OF THE GAME: Most women are confused or ignorant of the rules of the game.Tell her what a penalty is and why a goal is canceled because it is offside
-LET HER KNOW YOU WILL ENJOY IT BETTER IF SHE WATCH WITH YOU: say it to her, express it to her and let her know you mean it. Use basic words like “sharing” and “quality time” and “strengthening” and “relationship” to insist on both of you watching together
-MAKE THE ENVIRONMENT CONDUSIVE FOR HER: Get her best snack, food or something refreshing to make her feel comfortable.Ask her what she will like to drink or eat.Set the table.Eat, drink and watch together.
-BE PATIENT WITH HER IGNORANCE: You have to be really patient if you desire a happy environment to watch football with your wife.She will ask you all manner of “stupid” questions like asking if Eden Hazard is Christiano Ronaldo or why the Goalkeeper is holding the ball with his hands
-SHOW INTEREST IN WHAT SHE LOVES TOO
If you want her to love your football and watch with you then you must watch her shows too with her. Don’t go to her and say, “if you watch football with me this weekend, I’ll watch ‘Cheer Perfection’ with you tonight.” Sure, it might work, but this coupon system isn’t ultimately what you’re after. You want your girlfriend to actually like watching football with you, and she’s not going to like it if she approaches it as a payback.
So just start watching and enjoying her shows with her. Don’t say it’s because you want her to watch football. Just do it…even if you hate it.
