Laenenae Halicani has been detained by members of the Lagos State Police Command for reportedly beheading a four-year-old child who had previously been reported missing.
In order to report her kid missing, the child’s mother, Talwa Shode, of 7, Mangoro Street, Agege, went to the Isokoko Division. The youngster was discovered beheaded in a canal in the Agege neighbourhood of Ashade many hours after visiting the police station.
Halicani was captured when the police conducted their investigations. After being saved from a mob that was about to lynch him, he reportedly admitted to killing the man.

“About three hours after the mother reported her son missing, youngsters with heavy weapons were observed abusing a man who was thought to be the main suspect in the missing child’s disappearance. The man had bruises all over his body.
The suspect was saved by the cops. A source told The Nation that the patrol squad on surveillance discovered the missing child’s rotting, beheaded body from a canal in the Ashade neighbourhood hours later.
The insider went on to say that the mother of the child typically slept at the residence in an open area with three other people.
When questioned about why he beheaded the youngster, the suspect reportedly had no plausible explanation but kept repeating, “I killed him.”
Yesterday, the suspect who had been transported to Area C, Ogba, was shifted to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, for additional investigation.
