A South African twitter user, Thando @dlaminimthandos shared on her handle the graphic photo of her friend who her lover poured acid on because she broke up with him.

According to the post, the man later apologized for his wrong actions and ran away afterwards.
The alleged culprit
Thando wrote: “My friend dumped her boyfriend and he burnt her with acid. What a time to be alive. I hope so too. Hoping she won’t commit suicide after this as she stays alone and she been saying he should have killed her than this.”
