Legendary actor and Oscar award winner, Martin Landau is dead. He died at the age of 89 on Saturday 15th of July 2017 after being hospitalized briefly at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, USA.
He died in the hospital due to unexpected complications he developed. His death was confirmed by his publicist Dick Guttman.
The late legend starred in the 1960s television show “Mission: Impossible,” he won an Oscar for playing Bela Lugosi in the movie “Ed Wood.”
He was born June 28, 1928, in Brooklyn and worked as a cartoonist for the New York Daily News before becoming an actor. His career crossed many decades.
Landau acted along with his then wife, Barbara Bain in the movie in which he was best known to the public for playing master of disguise Rollin Hand for a top-secret spy team in the 1960s series “Mission: Impossible.”
