Maryam Abacha 72, is the wife of former Military Head of State, late General Sani Abacha, who ruled Nigeria from 1993 to 1998.

She had seven sons and three daughters for the late military head of state.
Of all her sons, Mohammed Abacha is the eldest surviving son and one who has imbibed some of his father’s legacy.
