The battle over money between husband and wife took a new turn as a desperate wife swallowed $7,000 US dollars in an attempt to hide the money from her husband during a fight with him.

The Colombian woman told the local RCN television channel she had saved up the money for a holiday with her husband after having sold several electrical household items.
Doctors said they were able to surgically extract 57 $100 bills from the woman’s stomach and intestines.
