NAFDAC Destroys Multi-Million Naira Fake/Expired Drugs
Expired cosmetics, food, drinks and drugs worth N80 Million have been destroyed by the National Agency for Food, Drug, Administration and Control (NAFDAC).NAFDAC
The fake/expired products were burnt to ashes on Wednesday at the joint exercise of the agency in Abuja. NAFDAC
Meanwhile, the Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Moji Adeyeye, says some of the products were voluntarily forfeited to NAFDAC by companies and non-governmental organisations while others were mopped up from circulation via enforcement activities of the Agency. NAFDAC
