Nigeria Gospel Music star, Frank Edwards dazzles at 27
July 22 is a day to be remembered greatly in the life of the Mma mma crooner, Frank Edward who also has featured with American gospel worship star, Don Moen.
Christened Frank Ugochukwu Edwards, Frank was born into a family of seven in a Southeastern Nigerian state of Enugu.
Also known as FrankrichBoy, Frank Edward is one of Nigeria’s most celebrated gospel artists after the likes of Nathaniel Bassey, Tim Godfrey and others.
Being a member of Christ Embassy Church in Nigeria and the LoveWorld Music Ministry which gave him a better platform to explore his God given talent, Frank came into his fame.
Frank is a recipient of several awards both in Nigeria and beyond. In May 2011 he was nominated as the Gospel artiste of the year in the sixth annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards. In 2012 He won West Africa best male vocalist in best hit single at the love world awards 2012 and 3 awards at the Nigeria gospel music awards (male artiste of the year, song of the year and best male vocal)
As a unique way of celebrating his birthday this year, Frank sang his into birthday in a church program in Popular Lagos Island church, House on the Rock on Friday where he also performed alongside some other gospel artist.
