A Nigerian-born US graduate has recently showered praises on his mum for her sacrifices towards his educational pursuit.
According to the man who finished from a US institution, his mother hawked boiled corn every day for his upkeep and that of his sibling.
He went on to narrate how she worked 10 years of her life in exchange for their primary and secondary education.
The man @mlkadesanya1 marked his mum’s 56th birthday with a short narration of how she sacrificed for him and his sibling.
In his Tweet:
“@mlkadesanya1 said many years ago his mother hawked boiled corn every day for about three weeks to be able to gather money for his undergraduate studies at the University of Lagos.
Describing the woman as a goddess, he stated that she exchanged 10 years of her life for the primary and secondary education of him and his brother.
Now, he is a graduate of Stanford School of Business. Though not financially buoyant to get her a car, he urged social media users to join him in celebrating the woman he dubbed Iya Wale.
Social media users reacted emotionally as they were full of praises for his selfless mum. @AdaJEMM reacted: “Happy birthday to your mother. May God satisfy her with sound health and mind to enjoy the fruits of her labour. God bless you and your brother too to continually take good care of her.”
Other responses came in on his comment section on Twitter.
