5 Reasons why young people should remain single for now
As we become older and begin to face the pressures that come with our youth age and thereafter the pressures of adulthood, we are also pressured by others around us to find a partner and begin a relationship. But don’t let this bother you; being single allows you to do a lot more things than being in a relationship.
If you’re single, you’ll have more time to learn about yourself and figure out what you want to do with your life. Dailyfamily takes a moment to consider some of the advantages of being single, we bring 5 reasons why young people should remain single for now.
YOU SAVE MORE MONEY:
One of the perks that come with being in a relationship is the burden of having to make unnecessary expenses. It is not cheap to be in a relationship. Taking your partner out to dinner, giving them gifts on a regular basis, all of these things add up and can add up to a significant amount of money over time. When you’re not in a relationship, save the money you’re saving and spend it on yourself; after all, it’s your money.
2. CONSTRUCT A BETTER YOU:
You will notice that while you are single, you have a lot more free time than when you are in a relationship. Don’t squander your time wallowing in self-pity. Go out and do those things you’ve always wanted to do instead.
Have you ever longed to tour the country, go for long hikes on mountain areas like Jos, or maybe go bungee jumping? You couldn’t, though, because your spouse was afraid you’d get wounded. Take advantage of this opportunity to do the things you’ve always wanted to do.
3. NO MORE MONITORING ON SOCIAL MEDIA:
You would be monitoring your partner’s activity and checking on what they have been posting or liking, just as you had to keep an eye on what you had placed on social media. You won’t have the worry about your partner’s social media activity if you don’t have a partner.
4. DO WHATEVER YOU WISH, WHENEVER YOU WISH:
When you aren’t in a relationship, you aren’t limited in what you can do. If you’re in a relationship, chances are you’ll be spending a lot of time with your spouse, so you should do things that both of you enjoy. It’s all about you if you’re single! You have complete freedom to go out and do anything you want, whenever you want.
5. MORE TIME FOR YOURSELF:
Working on relationships takes time, which means they eat up a lot of your free time. If you don’t have a partner, you can use your free time to do something else that you might enjoy more. Consider all of the things you’ll be able to do with your time, as well as all of the opportunities you’ll be able to take advantage of that you couldn’t previously.
