YorochiTV, Nigeria’s largest Facebook group, has once again demonstrated that love exists, raising almost N2 million to purchase two prosthetic legs for two brothers.

This campaign, called “ANDRES WILL WALK AGAIN,” grew into one of the most successful fundraising campaigns in history.

The Andres will walk once more trend began around 3 p.m. on August 13th, when David Iyenyorochi Obi, the founder of YorochiTV, and every other member of the Facebook Community agreed to contribute and raise 1 million naira for one of its members, Andres Idika, who was involved in a tragic accident alongside his brother, Chidiebere. Both of them lost a limb as a result of the accident.

The funds were intended to be used to purchase a prosthetic leg for him.

After a lot of contributions and prayers, YorochiTV members were able to gather 1.1 million naira on August 14th around 3:05 PM.

Soon after, David Iyenyorochi, the CEO of Yorochitv, requested YOROCHIANS to raise another N1 million to help Andres’ older brother, Chidiebere, walk again.

Yorochians were eager to help!! The Yorochians were all set!!! At 3:05 p.m., the second fundraiser for Andres’ brother started, with the hashtag “Chidieberewillwalkagain” trending on social media.

Over N2 million had been raised for the two boys by 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 15th.

Andres had not anticipated such a large birthday present.

Surely this is a true message of love; one that Jesus preached in the bible.

Yorochians have touched lives;

Yorochians have love.
