The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) Omoyele Sowore has lashed out at the leaders of the country.
The presidential hopeful blamed the pathetic condition of the country on the leaders’ inability to possess adequate knowledge required to run the country.
While entertaining questions in an interactive session with the students and staff of Benson Idahosa University, the AAC flagbearer alleged the leaders of the country, to him Nigeria has successfully built thieves.
He said Nigerian leaders have been saying that the country is complex,
“I hear those two things from all these conventional politicians, one is that Nigeria is complex, Yes they always tell you Nigeria is complex”
Responding to those claiming that Nigeria is big, he said Nigeria is not as big as the State of Alaska in the United States.
“And Nigeria is not complex, but our leaders do not understand the simplicity of our complexity”.

Speaking further he stressed the need to use technology in serving the needs of the country.
Speaking on education, he blamed the management of intervention funds meant for education. To him, the money is being managed by illiterates instead of professors and members of ASUU
“They use our intervention funds as slush funds for political reasons
“In my own time and in terms of education I will call ASUU, you are the one managing TETFund
“There is no reason you will have money meant for tertiary institutions and you will go and look for carpenters to be managing it for professors”
Sowore added that Nigeria needs a forward-thinking leader and a fighter with forensic knowledge to take the country out of her current state.
