Oyo State Assembly ex-majority leader dies

A former Majority Leader in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kunle Kilani Adisa is dead.

Adisa, fondly called KK, died in the early hours of Monday at his Iyana Court, Ile Tuntun, Oke-Odo area of Ibadan.

The ex-lawmaker represented Ibadan South East State Constituency under the platform of the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP) during the aborted third republic when Chief Kolapo Ishola and Chief Akin Onigbinde were governor and speaker‎ respectively.

DAILY POST gathered that Adisa also served as Deputy National Chairman of the defunct D‎emocratic Party of Nigeria (DPN) and as Senior Special Assistant on Legislative Matters to former Governor Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.

The deceased was buried on Monday.
