Picture of 9year-old boy chained by his father in church resurface again

The picture of a 9-year-old boy who was rescued by operatives of the Nigeria Security and civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) after he was chained and held captive in the premises of a Celestial Church in Ajibawo, Ogun State.
Recall, this shocking act of child abuse was carried out by his father, Francis Taiwo, who is also a pastor of the church.
Safe in the custody of security operatives, the boy spoke up and narrated how he was maltreated by his own people.
“I was not fed regularly when I was chained. My father and my step-mother only fed me twice a day. Some days, I was not given any food. I want to go back to school because I want to be a doctor in the future. I also do not want to go back to my father’s house,” the boy said.
Korede was reportedly chained inside a room in the church for months before his rescue was made possible by neighbours who tipped off the security agents. And his father has been arrested.
The boy is now 10 years old, looks healthy now, and even happier. The wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun, took up sponsorship of the 9-year-old, and he looks so good 1 year after.
