The Lagos State Police Command of the Federal anti Robbery squad has arrested another suspect, Ismaila Adeyemi, 49, in connection with the murder of Hector Jobateh, the winner of the 2006 edition of the Gulder Ultimate search.
According to the statement signed by ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, the suspect was arrested at the Gas line area of Omoniyi in Ijoko area of Ogun state.

“The suspect who was arrested at the Gas line, Ominiyi in Ijoko area of Ogun state confessed to the crime and other numerous crimes while other members of his gang have been arrested.
“The suspects would be charged to court after an investigation is concluded. “The command wishes to restate its commitment in partnership with members of the public and urge them to always come forward with useful information that would assist the police in discharging their duties,” Famous-Cole added.

According to ASP Famous Cole, the suspect will be charged to court after all investigations are concluded.
However, in our recent report, some suspected persons have been arrested in connection to Hector’s killing. Police reported that their arrests were made between September 6 and 13. Names of some of the arrested suspects are Babatunde, Rilwan, Zano, Ogunade, Adekanbi, Adekunle and Kazeem.
