Popular actress Mercy Aigbe was allegedly battered by her husband Lanre Gentry and their marriage is said to be in trouble.
It was gathered that the actress has been covering long years of battering and assault in her marriage that has lasted seven years and the violence only got worse in recent times.
Mr. Lanre Gentry, an hotelier was accused of violence conduct and constant battering of his actress wife which only came to the fore recently.
There was a claim that the couple had a bloody fight of recent that left the actress with critical injuries and she’s still receiving treatment at an unknown hospital in Lagos.
The actress came on her Instagram page to give a hint when she wrote ‘Say NO to DOMESTIC VIOLENCE…… Only a Coward hits a woman! REAL MEN don’t HIT!.’ And her husband replied like this, ‘Say No to the promiscuous and irresponsible women’.
He quickly removed the post and replaced it with another one showing him and Mercy together.
