Popular Footballer Collapses, Dies on Pitch
Croatian footballer, Bruno Boban, collapsed and died after being struck in the chest by the ball during a football match. Bruno plays for Croatian third division side Marsonia.
Other team-mates spent almost an hour trying to revive and bring the young star back to life but to no avail as the 25-year-old had already given up the ghost.
Nigeria will face the Croatians in their first world cup match come June this year, may his gentle soul rest in peace.
