Popular Ibadan based radio presenter in police net over alleged murder case

37-year-old popular Ibadan based radio presenter was on Tuesday arraigned before an Ibadan magistrate court.
Mr. Oriyomi Hamzat has allegedly murdered A 17-year old boy.
Mr Hazmat was docked along with four others namely, Idowu Ibrahim 27, Mohammed Bashir 31, Taiwo Olaronke 23 and Yusuf Toyeed Ajisafe 23 at court 3 Iyaganku, Ibadan.
The accused were arraigned on a two counts charge of conspiracy and murder with charge no.mi/1248c/2017.
The prosecutor, Mr.Sunday Fatola told the court that Hamzat and others, on July 21, 2017 at about 4am, at Make a Future Alive Initiative, Atolu, para Inuege,Oremeji Agugu in the Ibadan

Fatola further told the court that they unlawfully caused the death of one Peter (17) by inflicting an injury on his head and body,
Prosecutor said the offence was contrary to and punishable under Section 324 and section 316 and 319 of the criminal code cap 38 Vol 11 laws of Oyo state of Nigeria 2000
In his ruling, the Magistrate Mr. A.A. Adebisi ordered the accused to be remanded in Agodi Prison pending the legal advice from the state Director of public prosecution (DPP) and adjourned the case till September 5th 2017.
In his argument, his counsel, Mr. Olumuyiwa Makinde, however, expressed the belief that the high court would grant his clients bail when the case is eventually transferred to high court.
