Postgraduate Student found dead in River (Disturbing photos)
A postgraduate student, Zubaida Nuhu of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, was found dead at Tamburawa river, Kano state.

The Masters’ Degree student at the Department of Water Resources Engineering was found dead in a situation perceived to be suicide on the 3rd of February 2018.
Zubaida Nuhu was meant to start work at the same department at the Ahmadu Bello University as a graduate assistant.
Late Zubaida’s body being recovered from the river
A man, Ibrahim Musa, digging sand at the river, spoke to Premium Times. According to him, late Zubaida asked for “the deepest part of the river” when she arrived there.
The step-father of the deceased, Tajuddeen Alhaji, said she left home to withdraw money for a journey to Zaria on that day.
He said: “On that fateful Saturday around 11.00 a.m she told her mother she wanted go to withdraw money from ATM. Few minutes later, she sent her phone and purse to her mother. Her mother called me around 4.00 p.m that Zubaida left home to withdraw money since 11.00 a.m but hasn’t comeback. Immediately I notified police and local radio stations.”
Mr. Tajuddeen explained that he received a call afterward informing him that the body of a woman was found at Tamburawa river along Zaria road, Kano.
He added: “When we checked, we found it was Zubaida’s corpse.”
