President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria today,  Friday, 10th March according to Femi Adesina his media adviser.

The President left the Country on 19th January on a brief vacation to London and was expected to return to work on 6th February. The visit to UK according to him would include some medical check ups, but a day to his resumption he requested for the leave to be extended due to the recommendation of his Doctors that he wait for further tests and rest.

NAN reports that according to Adesina, President Buhari expressed appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent him their good wishes.

His arrival tomorrow will put to rest the speculations about his health and will particularly shame death wishers.

In the past two weeks, President Buhari has been quite busy receiving visitors from Nigeria and making phone calls to some Nigerians, offering  messages of succour, and felicitations.

Only today, President Buhari received the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Reverend Justin Welby. As it turned out, Welby merely came to say goodbye.
