A wedding in Malawi has been cancelled on Saturday, 5th of November, following an objection to the solemnization of a groom and his bride by the groom’s ex-girlfriend, claiming they were still in a relationship.
The report trending on Twitter has it that the bride who was almost on the verge of exchanging the marital vows with her groom left the church venue in tears after the lady who was said to be her groom’s ex-girlfriend stood up in church, claiming she was still in a relationship with her husband-to-be.
On seeing the lady’s objection, the bride took off, out of the church premises, crying.

A Twitter user identified as @JMalikay_27 who was a witness to the wedding ceremony shared.
“Another wedding cancelled yesterday after the guy’s ex-stood up in church and said the guy was still her boyfriend. Meanwhile the bride??.”

According to the user, it was gathered that;
“The bride burst into tears crying after her husbands ex-girlfriend disrupted their wedding forcing the pastor to cancel it after he asked if there was anyone present that had any reason why the couple should not be joined together he or she should speak now or forever remain silent; and the ex-girlfriend from nowhere stood and revealed that the groom is still her boyfriend and that they just had sex some days back”
