Remains of Lagos Lawmaker, Hon. Kazeem Ademola Alimi, buried amid tears
The remains of the late member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Kazeem Ademola Alimi, who died on Tuesday July 18, have been buried on Wednesday, July 19, amid tears, in accordance to Islamic rites.
The deceased was buried at the Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Prayers was led by the Chairman Council Imams of Eti Osa, Afinni Yusuf for the deceased. Who also remind everyone at the ceremony the need for everyone to see death as being inevitable and to do good at all times.
People in attendance at the burial ceremony includes the deceased’s colleagues in the Assembly, representatives of royal fathers, politicians, family and friends.

Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, who led other lawmakers to the burial, prayed that such a loss would not occur in the assembly again.
The wife of the late lawmaker, Alhaja Adijat Modupe Alimi, described the death of her husband as painful, while expressing gratitude to God for a life well spent.
Alimi, who represented Eti Osa State Constituency 1 in the Assembly died on Tuesday July 18th 2017, two weeks after his 50th birthday after a brief illness.
