SAD! 19-Year-Old Girl Arrested for Killing Her Own Baby
A 19-year-old girl has been arrested for taking the life of her newborn baby and dumping in a waste bin.
The 19-year-old teenage mother, Munirat Bagana was reported to have suffocated her baby boy to death and afterwards dumping his body in a dustbin in Sokoto state.
ASP Cordelia Nwawe, the police spokesperson, Sokoto police command speaking to reporters said the suspect is a student of Sokoto State School of Health Technology, Gwadabawa.
She was arrested following that her fellow schoolmates allegedly caught her throwing away the dead baby.
Munirat Bagana, however, denied the murder claims as she told newsmen that she had a stillbirth and that the baby came prematurely.
The police mentioned that she would be charged to court after investigations have been concluded.
