A balcony railing collapse in northern Vietnam school has left 11 children seriously injured, authorities announced.
According to the Tuoi Tre newspaper, the victimized students who were said to all be in their year five, were reportedly queued up on a second floor balcony at Van Mon Primary School in Bac Ninh province on Monday, the incident happened.

Report gathered from Tuoi Tre revealed that the children, leaning against the railing, fell to the first floor after the railing gave way.

The aftermath of the accident reveals that three of the children who were seriously wounded with fractured skulls have been rushed to a nearby hospital in Hanoi for treatment.
Eight others suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital.
Police team investigating the cause of the accident, told Tuoi Tre that the balcony railings at the school was in “poor condition”. Nevertheless they wont settle with that alone as they are still investigating to further unravel the cause of the incidence.
