Shocking! See Number Of Females Receiving HIV Treatment In Nigeria (Full Details)
It has been revealed that about 747,853 Females are receiving HIV treatment out of the 1,090,233 infected persons in Nigeria.

This was revealed by the National Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS earlier this year in June.
Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday, November 9 2018, the Acting Director, Research Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate, Mr Greg Ashefor mentioned that 342, 380 males were also receiving ARV treatment.
Ashefor stated that the number of persons included those on treatment programmes supported by the U.S Government (PEPFAR), Global Fund, and the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Acting Director also mentioned that Federal Government programme covered 62, 120 persons on treatment, with 44,116 persons in Taraba and 17,904 persons in Abia.
He however mentioned that there is a huge gap to cover in terms of Data management.
