Seven Badoo cult suspects granted bail by Lagos magistrate court

Ebute Meta Magistrate court has granted seven suspected members of the evil Badoo cult who were accused of the various killing in Ikorodu area of Lagos state.

According to Punch, the seven accused are Afolabi Kessington (25), Ismaila Shaibu (36), Mutiu Nurudeen (26), Ibrahim Bello (25), Lukman Mohammed (35), Gift Itafa (50) and Sheriff Adewunmi (23), and they all pleaded not guilty.

They were accused of committing the offences between the 3rd and the 5th of July by the prosecutor, ASP Fidelis Dike. They were charged with conspiracy and membership of an unlawful society.

They were arrested at Powerline, Agbala area of Ikorodu and also at Irawo Estate, Owode Onirin in Lagos where they gathered to have a meeting that was considered illegal.

The accused were granted a bail of N200, 000 each with two sureties in like sum who must be their relatives by blood each by The Magistrate, Mrs. Kofo Ariyo, and the case was adjourned till the 9th of August 2017.
