Drama at Changshui International Airport as a man and his wife engaged in wrestling right on the tarmac.
Report shows that the couple started shouting at each other before it worsen to the public fight.
The flight was forced to be delayed for an hour as other passengers were seen watching the unusual drama at the airport.
The husband was seen pinning his wife to the ground and swinging his fists in the direction of her face as they fought at the bottom of the steps leading onto China Eastern Airlines Flight 5843 – which was minutes away from leaving Changshui International Airport.
According to staff at the airport, the pair began raising their voices while standing in the queue. They then apparently refused to board the 11am flight to Chengdu in the neighboring province in southwest China. It later degenerated into a physical fight- and at one point, the man even manages to lose his T-shirt after it is tugged off by the wife.
Airline staff was called to break up the fight between the couple – but footage of the bizarre incident shows the violence escalated. Police said the pair were in the middle of a divorce.
