Snake Swallowed Our School Fees, Benue Students Protest
The students of Benue State University protested their unpaid school fees with the claim that snake had swallowed their school fees.

The students held a massive protest after some of their colleagues were chased out of school.
The University management had suspended the examinations supposed to hold earlier and the school has also been shut down until further notice.
Reports have it that the students’ claim is that there has been failure to pay their school fees because the salaries of their parents have not been paid. Other claims are that pensions have also not been paid.

It was written on the placards the students carried during the protest that snakes had swallowed the money meant for their fees.
