Son-in-law to Donald Trump denies any collusion with Russian Government.

Following the alleged manipulation of the 2017 US general election which saw Donald J Trump as winner over Hillary Clinton, the son-in-law to Donald Trump, Jared Krushner has been challenged to a talk on his association with Russian government.

In response to this, Jared Krushner, son-in-law to US President Donald Trump has denied any form of collusion or unhealthy association with the government of Russia.

In a statement released on Monday ahead an appearance before the Senate Intelligence committee, Krushner said.

“I did not collude, nor know of anyone else in the campaign who colluded, with any foreign government.”

“I had no improper contacts. I have not relied on Russian funds to finance my business activities in the private sector,”

Krushner who also is the senior white House adviser said he had brief meetings with Russia’s ambassador to the US, saying they discussed a desire to improve US and Russia relations, but he denied having further discussions on phone with the diplomat as reported by newsmen.

“The record and documents I am providing will show that I had perhaps four contacts with Russian representatives out of thousands during the campaign and transition, none of which were impactful in any way to the election or particularly memorable,”

Still on the ongoing investigations, US president Donald J Trump have lashed out on the committee spear heading the investigations. In a Monday tweet, he wrote.

“So why aren’t the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?” He said this relating to his rival, Hillary Clinton.

Further speaking on the alleged association with the nation of Russia, Krushner said ‘it is a waste of time’.

Trump Jr and campaign manager Paul Manafort who also attended the meeting, were initially scheduled to appear this week before the Senate Judiciary Committee. But that testimony has been postponed based on an understanding that the two men will provide the committee with records and information.

The Son-in-law to Donald Trump also said in his statement that while he was in the meeting there was no discussion of the election campaign.
