Stephanie Okereke Linus speaks about delay in child birth after welcoming a baby boy

Stephanie Okereke-Linus in some interviews spoke about welcoming her little boy some years after her marriage.

Nollywood star actress, Stephanie Okereke-Linus has opened up on the cause of delay in child birth in her marriage.

In a recent interview with the Punch, the Awarding winning movie star said;

“Marriage has been very good to me and it has been a wonderful experience all the way. I am happy that I am with someone I love and we are both excited to be sharing the rest of our lives with each other. I have no regrets about getting married at the time I did as I believe that God’s time is the best.”

On the fact that she had delay in child birth, the film director and model said:

“Like I have stated before, it was a personal decision between me and my husband. I do not work with anybody else’s time. So far I know what is good for me, I will go for it.”

Speaking about her passion for acting, the award winning actress said.

“I have always loved acting and I was fortunate enough to discover my gift at an early age. I am also a filmmaker and I am determined to correct some of the societal ills of the country through my projects. I also love travelling and broadening my horizon.”

However, the actress also has a foundation, the Extended Hands Foundation where she is busy touching lives.

Stephanie recently helped 35 Women with VVF (Vesicovaginal fistula – is an abnormal fistulous tract extending between the bladder (or vesico and the vagina that allows the continuous involuntary discharge of urine into the vaginal vault) in Kebbi State.

This took place at the Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development VVF Center in Gesse, Birin-Kebbi and she also received the cooperation of the Kebbi State Government.

All the treatment have been completed successfully and the women are recovering well.

It may also interest you to know that Stephanie was the runner up for the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty pageant of 2002. In 2011, she was honoured by the Nigerian government with a National honour (Member of the Order of the Federal Republic, MFR).
