A man,24, Godwin Banchir has allegedly killed his mother Mrs. Saratu Banchir ,65 for refusing to answer his greetings.
The prosecutor, Luka Pam told A Jos High Court that the accused confess to The Police that he killed his mother on January, 27, 2017 at his house in Jos for failing to answer him when he greeted her
.He picked up a stick and hit his mother when she did not respond to his greetings early on that morning.
According to Punch, the woman fell down and managed to shout for help before an Uncle of the accused came to help her but it was too late.
Luka Pam is accused of always quarreling with his mother whenever he is hungry.
The Judge, Justice A.I Axiom adjourned the case to May 30 for continuation of the case.
