The clash among the students occurred on the night of Sunday 4th February 2018.
According to eyewitnesses, the outcome of the Students’ Union Government Election which favoured a particular group led to the crisis in the Institution.
It was gathered that the result of the election favored the Christian group and this made their Muslim counterpart infuriated which led to the attack that was carried out while the Christians were fellowshipping.
The closure of the University has been ordered after the authorities of the school held an emergency meeting and this has put a hold on the examinations that are supposed to commence today.
All students have been asked to vacate the school premises as the university closes.
